“MaRonda grew our organization’s membership from 9 campuses to 17 in less than a year. Even more, she completely immersed herself in her work specifically through developing new young student leadership - personally mentoring and teaching several BSU chairs. Gracefully, MaRonda guided and coached more than 30 student leaders into effective self and community advocacy.”

“WOW! Finding Peace isn’t Peaceful was so bold, so raw and so incredibly honest. This book will be the impetus for so much healing. I saw myself in some of her choices.”

— Debra Hammond | Executive Director of the University Student Union at CSU Northridge

The Carry On workshop series should be mandatory for all People of Color because we are always told to “put everything away” until we grow up stuffed with no way to digest reality.
